Volunteers
Volunteers are the foundation of Meals on Wheels. In addition to delivering food, volunteers ensure that homebound clients have contact each day with at least one caring person who observes their physical condition.
Meals on Wheels provides a VOLUNTEER FACT SHEET of guidelines to inform those who wish to volunteer. There is also a VOLUNTEER APPLICATION which you may print, complete, and bring to our office in Farmville.
Meals on Wheels accepts donations from individuals and groups, and holds fundraisers throughout the year. For more details, read about our annual Chefs Food Festival and other fundraisers.
